One-Day Crowns and Restorations

CEREC crowns and dental restorations are the most natural and fast way to restore teeth that have suffered from decay or an oral injury. There are no more messy impressions or temporary restorations with CEREC one-day dental treatments. Just one visit to our office, and your smile will be as good as new!

Benefits of One-Day Dental Restorations

CEREC dental restorations use 3D imaging to quickly map out the perfect restoration for your mouth. Your custom-made restoration is sculpted within just 30 minutes, using precision imaging to create the perfect fit for your mouth.

How does CEREC Work?

CEREC stands for CEramic REConstruction, and is used to both design and physically form dental crowns, fillings, and bridges. Dr. Sullivan will first take a 3D image of your mouth using an advanced, 3D imaging system. The restoration will then be created using this image so that it perfectly fits your smile at all angles. Dr. Sullivan will then carefully place your restoration, ensuring you have a healthy, beautiful smile!

Frequently Asked Questions

- How long will my CERC crowns last?

Each case is unique and the lifespan of your dental crown often varies depending on how well you maintain your dental hygiene routine. When properly taken care of, CEREC crowns typically last between 10-15 years.

- Are there any aftercare instructions that I should be aware of?

Your dental crown should be cared for exactly as your natural teeth are. Floss on a daily basis, brush at least twice per day, and incorporate an alcohol-free mouthwash into your routine. If you grind your teeth at night, wearing a mouthguard while you sleep can help protect your dental crown as well.

- What can I eat after getting CERC crowns?

Dental crowns are intended to enhance your eating capabilities, not limit them. While there are no hard limitations on your diet after having a CEREC crown placed, we do recommend avoiding extremely sticky foods.
